What is the injection molding machine gear assembly method?

In the injection molding machine, the gears are generally fixed on the shaft. For the fit of the gear and the shaft, H7/k6, H7/n6, H7/r6 precision transition fit or interference fit is mostly used. The gear assembly method is as follows.
 
1. Remove the burrs on the matching parts of the inner hole of the gear and the shaft.

2. Match the key according to the transmission shaft and the gear keyway. Generally, H9/h9 coordination can be used.

3. Detect the actual size of the diameter of the shaft and the gear hole, and determine the assembly method of the gear and the shaft according to the size of the interference.

4. After assembly, apply a thin layer of lubricating oil on the matching part of the shaft. If the interference is relatively large, use a press to assemble; if the interference is relatively small, it can be assembled by hitting with a hand hammer.

5. Gear assembly should pay attention to the following:
a. When assembling with a press, use the gear datum plane as a calibration to level it, use a square to correct the shaft, and then assemble again.
b. The assembled gears and transmission shaft shoulders should be tightly attached, as shown in the figure below, and no inclination or no misalignment is allowed.
c. If there is no pivot block where the gear and shaft fit together, the gear should be fixed with screws and shafts to prevent the gear shaft from moving.
d. When there is a problem with the gear work after assembly, you can refer to the following table for analysis and adjustment.
